Yamaha 867d French Horn, part 2 - Architecture In Music

Yamaha 867d French Horn, part 2

Photographic Print:

A wall of stripes are reflected in the bell of a splendid Yamaha 867d French Horn. Once played in the New York Phil, this beautiful horn is now in the hands of the Principal of the Auckland Philharmonic in New Zealand.58 photos were stacked together to keep both the stripes and the horn itself in focus, allowing the contours of the instrument to bend the stripes into a remarkable zebra like pattern.
