German Violin c. 1920.

Inside a German Violin by an unknown maker, likely built around 1920, and repaired in 1947.

This photograph represents a major breakthrough in instrument photography. It's the first time that medical endoscopic lenses have been used at this resolution. This allows us to see far more of the instrument than ever before, including a century of repairs, the lower bouts, and the entire bass bar.
